Quality

Quality is an integral part to any manufacturing process. How did this arise?

The idea of quality can be traced back to Medieval Europe in the 13th century. Craftsmen formed associations that developed strict rules for product & service quality. Inspection committees would enforce the rules by marking flawless goods with a special mark or symbol.

This concept evolved through the Industrial Revolution and World Wars, both as a way to improve production yield from limited resources, and to ensure safety in operation.

Modern day Quality (and its associated processes) are controlled & monitored with various tools like SPC, SQC and certifications (ISO, IATF etc.)

AFSB is proud to have ISO, IATF and VDA certified teams to uphold high quality standards for our valued customers.
